Local Outreach
St. Peter’s is involved in over a dozen local agencies and outreach initiatives, including Beacon House recovery program, Harbor Interfaith, YWCA, Shawl House, Hope House, and Toberman House. In 2016 – 2019, we added three new ministries that specifially help low income and the unhoused in our community: Laundry Love, Family Promise and a Shower Ministry. Whether you are looking for a weekly hands on ministry, or a way to give monthly or annually, there are numerous ways to serve through St. Peter’s!

Episcopal Relief and Development (ERD)
Episcopal Relief & Development supports local and world-wide, long-term initiatives that address poverty, hunger, disease, economic development and disaster response where the need is greatest. St. Peter’s has been an ongoing supporter of ERD. We invite you to learn more about this wonderful organization by clicking on the link above.
Our own Bill Seixas was recognized as on honorary Canon for his work in raising money for ERD programs at St. Peter’s. For 30+ years, Bill helped the parish raise between $14,000 – $17,000 each year. A copy of Bill’s letter from ERD and a picture of his certificate (click to enlarge) from the Bishop are listed below
