Singers with diverse musical skills are welcome! We regularly sing at the 10:15 a.m. service from September through June. We have two non-musical prerequisites for joining the choir. First, and foremost, you need a good sense of humor. Second, since the choir is a team sport, you need to make a commitment to the group. You might consider joining for a specific time period, like Advent/Christmas or Lent/Easter. We usually rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:30 p.m. If you have any questions or thoughts about the choir, speak with a choir member or Richard Metzler. To contact Richard Click Here to Email, or drop a note in his box in the church office.
The Handbell Choir enriches our worship throughout the year. We rehearse on Sunday mornings from 9:00-9:30 a.m. four weeks prior to ringing in a service. The next scheduled rehearsal can be found by reading the Sunday announcements. For more information contact Richard Metzler Click Here to Email, or drop a note in his box in the church office.
Our worship is enriched by instrumental talents of many parishioners and friends, some beginning and some more advanced. Do you have a musical talent that you are not sharing? Do you know of someone who is hiding their musical talent under a bushel? We especially need someone who can play a drum set. To share your instrumental musical gifts with us please contact Richard Metzler Click Here to Email, or drop a note in his box in the church office. (Sources of referrals remain anonymous.)
